Botanical Beauties
Ferns, Flowers, Bugs & Eggs
Currently on view at the gallery, this show reveals the beauty of botanicals created from the 18th through 20th centuries. From the lush photogravure prints of Karl Blossfeldt in the 1930s to highly involved prints from the mid 18th century by French naturalists Félix-Édouard Guerin and Pierre Francois Turpin, to whimsical bug and shell images by Irish naturalist Edward Donovan, the show brings together an unusual array of images and related design objects.
The show runs through September 2010. Please contact us if you would like more information or would like to purchase one of the prints.
